LAKE CITY, FL (June 30, 2021) – Each year, millions of Americans sing the national anthem at major sporting events, graduations, and public gatherings – belting out that famous lyric, “O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.” Though we sing about freedom, we know that there’s not much in life truly “free,” including the freedoms we enjoy in America. Those who enlist in the military pay for these freedoms – sacrificing their time, plans, and sometimes even their lives so that we can sing the lyrics of the national anthem with confidence.

In an attempt to repay those brave men and women who have served in our military, Ellianos Coffee is partnering with VetFran to offer a franchise discount for U.S. veterans effective July 1, 2021. Ellianos Coffee extends a 20% franchise fee discount to all U.S. veterans who have a 25% or more ownership interest.

The VetFran Program was founded in 1991 with the mission to link the entrepreneurial aptitude and skill of veterans with the incredible opportunity of being a franchisee by offering discounts and incentives to veterans, who are often drawn to the franchise business model because of their entrepreneurial spirit, motivation, and qualifications. These veterans emerge from service with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams, improve systems, and work toward a clearly defined mission – all necessary qualities of a successful franchisee.

Ellianos is proud to partner with VetFran to work toward the mission to bring Italian Quality at America’s Pace to communities across the southeast United States. Ellianos founder, Scott Stewart, speaks about the new partnership stating, “We are thrilled to be partnering with VetFran to make the franchising opportunity more of a reality to our veterans. We honor those who have served in our military and are grateful for the sacrifice they have made. It’s now our turn to serve them.”

About Holly Key

Holly grew up in the suburbs of Lake City, Florida, and cherishes the sweet memory of her mother regularly treating her to an Ellianos Cookies & Cream Freezer when she was young. Throughout her high school years, she remembers frequenting the drive-thru coffeehouse before classes for much-needed fuel. As Holly transitioned into college at Southeastern University to pursue a bachelor's degree, she continued to rely on an iced Tuscany Toffee latte to get her through late nights of studying. Her love of Ellianos has blossomed over the years, so when presented with the opportunity to combine her love of the coffee brand with her writing skill, she was quickly on board. Holly joined the Ellianos team early in 2021 to assist in content writing, and she has loved every moment. She currently resides in her hometown of Lake City, Florida, with her husband Alvin and dreams of continuing to be a part of the Ellianos family for years to come.
